China: Minority Festivals & Winter Landscapes, Feb 2020

Join me on my new photography tour to southern China in February, 2020. The 15 day trip takes us to the Hunan & Guizhou provinces and includes Zhangjiajie National Park for classic Chinese landscapes (think Avatar), Huangguoshu Falls (the largest in China) and to some of the traditional and very picturesque villages of the Miao & Dong minorities. The trip is timed around the Lusheng & Dragon Fire festivals. The colourful Lusheng festival is one of the Miao ethnic minorities most important annual events, featuring the extravagant traditional dress of the Miao women. The exciting Dragon Fire festival features dancing, firework-laden dragons. Should be amazing!
